With the new Xray 808 2010 spec kits hitting the shelves how does one write a review, when this kit has had many reviews awards since its release in 2008?

Having been privileged to attend the private test day of the prototype car, my subsequent sneak peek photos following this, prior to its first release " Xray 808 Pre Release Article " and " Xray 808 Review "- Just how could Pirate RC better it?

With a twist to the norm, roll in my team driver Xray factory team driver Brennan Ralls, who offered to give a review based on a team spec build what he does in terms of tricks of the trade.  The victim / lucky individual being Steve Webb’s new car.

This is not your typical new buggy review its approached with a difference as its more of a build overview with hints and tips than your conventional page by page piece by piece build.

i have currently building an 808 and i would like to pass on a few tips that i do on most of the cars i buld, the captive nuts on the chassis braces and wing supports can be a pain in the neck they can fall out just as you are about to insert the skrews, my tip is this insert the nuts and then add a small bead of silicon sealer

You need to have a look at the suplementary instructions dude - the 2010 version has bigger bearings, so doesn't use the plastic covers  Grin
