sorry dude but i am also pulling out it just doesn't look like there is going to be enough to race and i need to get some practice in before the proline as i am not racing at Ware SRS

If everyone on this thread who said "I'll come along if....." actually turned up then along with the normal "turn up on the day people" you'd have enough for a meeting.

Can't people see how self defeating it is for you to all not turn up because none of you are willing to commit to racing?

Support your clubs gents or lose them.

hold a ****ing a minute fella i feel you are well out order in your statement seeing as you dont even race there . I have raced at DRT since day dot when Ronnie started along with Ricky and Brian on here. We have supported the club 100% . DRT held one of the best winter series i have ever taken part in Sponsored by Mr Cradock with a full drivers list for every one of the 5 rounds . The track was looked after and everything was great until it finished then the maintenance went down hill, the credit crunch hit and (the rotten luck with the thief of the cars at the race meet) the numbers slowly got less and less . Now DRT is my local track and i would love to race all the time but because of many many things the numbers are just not there anymore and nothing is more frustrating then turning up to race for it only to be canceled coz of low numbers.

Now before i get my head bitten of about maintenance i am not working and had nothing but time BUT unfortunately being on crutches there was not a lot i could do otherwise i would have been there all the bloody time i am sorry for this rant but i feel that Ricky, Brian and Myself are not abandoning the club at all its just the hard fact that over the last 6 months the club has taken a beating and all we want to do is race

Glen, what I think Ryan was trying to say is give the club a chance on the race day you never know how many people are going to end up coming on the day that havent booked in!!

On Sunday there are 3 things going on, Truggy National, KMRC and DRT, Where ever people are wanting to race I hope they have a very enjoyable day (I know I'm going to be knackered as I'm at the Truggy Nat in Coventry this weekend)

No and its irrelevant anyway. Unfortunately DRT has had some bad luck along the way - attendance numbers can be very easily affected - It can be like an ever decreasing circle - as proved by this thread.

I was not being critical of any one person, nor the efforts people have put in past or present.
