Yeah was good.... Little confused by the results tho. I crossed the line on my own with Baker in a pack behind me. Results show him crossing the line 2 secs in front of me? Weird. Guess I must have been daydreaming......

Confused by the heat results too.......  Huh

http://www.piraterc.com/piraterc/DRTsummer2008/drtsum09/mtg45/h6r2.htm

Car 2... 12/5m 35.42s
Average lap time 1m 51.81s

Car only completed 3 laps by the lap times.

This 12 lapper in 5min also gave him the TQ spot ?

Wayne's PT location was causing some problems (it was mounted on its side) - believe when this was picked up a manual count was done, hence the average lap time looking somewhat odd!

I think if there is people with a problem  Huh it should of been brought up there and then.....not a day later on the forum  Tongue Tongue

Darren Hayden Ball won the race and i was only 2-3 secs behind him for all of the 7mins so they allowed me the 12 laps.
I have not had any pt probs before, but i will take Matts and others advise and change location of it.....i will put in the car next time not on me tranny  Tongue Grin

Wayne, if it had not been for someone spilling some liquid over the result sheet of that paticular round, covering/smudging your time, I would have brought it up at the track  Tongue
I also pointed out to race control when I saw a pitman collecting a certain racers car from the track (buggy) and then rolling it under the timimng loop, if I see something on the day I bring it up there and then.
When looking at the results track side, that paticular heat result showed you way down the list, and since overall qualifying results where only posted up for the first round, round 2 and 3 never appeared, how was I too know what time/position everyone was in and possible question anyone's times ?

Not that it really matters, since my diff blew at around 14mins in the final, retiring me from a comfortable 3rd place, still, one thing I did learn was how to T-bone someone into the first corner to gain a place..........thanks to who ever that was for the lesson, I'll be sure to return the "lesson"  Roll Eyes

Yeah it was a great race! I had loads of fun.... Gotta do the double its the best part of the track, although as you say, I crashed more than I got it right!
My comment wasn't supposed to have any other suggestions implied and was meant literally. Looking forward to the next round, awesome to be back on a dirt track, should be a good close series. I'll just need more tyres next time, burnt out the tyres that worked best in the heats, went on to x's for the final but they weren't as good, I was sliding too much. Learnt lots for next time, let battle commence Cheesy Cheesy

i think we need more commnetry for pitmen and drivers it can sometimes be hard to work out where your man is and backmarkers who think there still in the race end up challenging the leader and taking him out.

actualy i think darrly was talking about rigging another screen for the pit to view so that would be handy roll on round 2
