Diffs are a critical point of the power transfer, and can be used to adjust the cars balances. So always ensure they are free clean & re lubricated regulary. If conditions are dusty or very wet re lube them after the meeting & prior to the next time you are to race. Re fill with silicone oil to just above the pins, if you overfill the silicone expands during a long final which can make them bind giving odd handling .

Centre drive shafts & before tightening grub screw, fit a bearing over the pin. This stops the pin moving because of the twisting effect of the grub screw as its tightened, if its a new assembly remember loctite otherwise the grub screw will undo & jam up assembly. Re lube the pin assmebly regulary to increase life span of the parts.
