Race Reports: East Coast Nitro Series Rd. 4. (843 Reads)

Truggy Main - at the start Travis and I were caught in the pile up and had to work our way up to the front. Since we were able to do 10 minutes on a tank of fuel, shortly after the first stop we were 1 and 2. We battled back and forth numerous times until about 1 minute to go when I made a mistake allowing Travis to get by and take the win. - Good Job Travis!

Buggy Main - When the buzzer was sounded at the start of the race, Travis and I got away clean. I was in the first position and Travis was second close behind. We both started pulling away from the pack at an alarming rate and quickly made a comfortable gap from the rest of the drivers. I continued on with the lead and never gave it up, winning the event!

Event: 2nd Annual Motorama Nitro Event.
Track: The Farm.
Class: 1/8th Pro Buggy
Qual: 1st.
Finish: 1st.

The 2nd Annual Motorama Nitro Event was held at The Farm Complex in Harrisburg PA. The race drew 266 Entrees to this event. Much Speculation had been brewing through to pit whether or not the program was going to be a success due to the problems that arose from last year's event, but the people at Competition Products did not disappoint. Traxxas, Competition Products, TQ Fuel, GMK supply, and Carolina's R/C were the main sponsors.

The classes offered were Nitro Production Monster Truck, Pro Buggy and Pro Truggy. Buggy was the biggest class, and Trinity/Losi's Chad Phillips TQ'd the event and took the win with his Losi 8 Buggy powered by Trinity's NEW Nitro Engine and Platinum fuel. Other winners included Mike Bataille in Production Monster Truck, and Mark Christman in Pro Truggy.
