The race meetings will be run by the clubs and will be run as a regular club meeting for that club.
With this in mind each race meeting may vary according to each individual clubs rules and facilities, however it is recommended that each club uses the BRCA 1/8th off road rules as a racing guide line.
The race format for that day will be announced and confirmed at the days drivers briefing before racing starts by the clubs race director.
Bump Up finals will be used at all race meetings.
There will be three classes for end of championship points, SRS 1/8th Off Road Buggy, SRS 1/8th Off Road Buggy Sportsman (equal to BRCA clubman) & SRS 1/8th Truggy.
Each club will decide on whether or not to arrange a pre booking format for that event. Please contact the club for details. Where a club is using pre booking, they will publicly make available a list on either their own web site or one of the many RC forums.
If over subscribed, entries for the Truggy class will be limited to 25% of the overall entry. If maximum entry for that club is reached, drivers entering 2 classes will be limited to 1 entry per day.
A SRS representative will oversee the race meetings to ensure fair play is adhered to.
The SRS representative will collect the points for each meeting for calculating the championship results. 100 points will be awarded to first place, 98 points to second, 97 points to third and so on.
4 of the 7 rounds will be used to calculate the final championship results. The winners will be those with the most points. Ties taken on count back.
To score points towards the championships, each driver must be a BRCA member, and you BRCA number must be submitted when entering.
