piraterc.com news Neo-Buggy.net in association with the DXR club are pleased to announce the date and venue for the 2006 Neo Invitational race (“Race”).

Date: 15-17 December 2006
Organizer: Neo Buggy & DXR Club
Location: Harper Adams College, Newport, Shropshire UK

The 2006 Race will build upon last year’s through improved facilities; and an experienced team running the event. Key Officials will also be present to judge the race. Once again Neo-Buggy will be part of the organising team; joining us is the DXR club. Known for the excellent events run at the Harper Adams venue, it was logical to pair the two together. The venue is recognized for excellent dirt quality, good lighting and venting as well. Timing will be provided once again by BBK RC; including webcasting and updates on the official website.

Race Events: INDONESIA 2006 Worlds (883 Reads)

piraterc.com news Dimension of the track, 52.5 x 60 m.
Minimum track width is 4 m
Farthest part of the track is elevated to provide better view from the driver's rostrum.
There will be 4 different jumps across the track. Will be added if necessary.
Direction of the track will be counter clockwise.
Lighting will be provided around the track.
Driver's Rostrum is able to accommodate 10 drivers with more than 80 cm space between each driver.
A tower is under contruction. This tower will be dedicated for computer room. The height will be the same as the driver's rostrum so it would allow better view to the activities in racing.

piraterc.com news In appalling weather the RRCi RX series continued, this time completing the whole meeting at Telford Hot Trax while many other meetings were cancelled due to the high rain fall.

Regardless of the make of buggy being raced one thing was common across all makes and skill levels, the tyre to have was the Ho Bao Angle spikes, nothing else came close. Sure enough the top 13 that made it into the A final were all on the trusty Angles and no one dare venture out on anything less.
