In occasion of 2^ the test of the Italian Championship Off Road, we have had the possibility to photograph a prototype of the new motors been born from the union of forces between MOTOR PSA ENGINES and CMB ITALY. The new propulsori for automodellismo will be commercialized with both marks.

Herts nitro has been open for one year today so Happy birthday.
The venue was found with help from mike cradock, Doug and Jim Thompson.
The committee did not want to start with a flat grass track so work started in March 2007 and by April 2007 things had taken shape.
The track opened in May 2007 and is now catching the top venues in the UK for best rallycross/Truggy venue.
The club hopes to have the rostrum covered in the next few months and undercover pitting is also planed.
To move the club forward the committee expanded in May 2008 with new chairman Marc Jones.
Our aim for 2008/2009 is to work with local clubs to give club racers a race calendar and too  make Herts Nitro one of the leading venues in the UK.
We also want the club to holds its roots and still remain a family friendly club and we must not forget Sandy Nitro Model Club which Herts evolved from.
Lastly I would like to thank everyone who has put in time effort to get us to where we are to today thanks again.

Taking into account that J12 have no option but to cancel due to a waterlogged track the committee have taken the decision after searching for back-up tracks to move the event to Frankley and swop the dates between Frankley and Junction12 the last thing the committee wants is to cancel and the drivers have no-where to race

Any driver that no longer wishes to race if you email themaddog@blueyonder.co.uk a refund can be arranged or moved to an alternative round and any driver that now wished to come due to unforeseen circumstances will be allowed to book in via email and this should only be done via themaddog@blueyonder.co.uk

Gates will be open from 7am, a butty van will be sought but due to very short notice may be a good idea to bring a packed lunch just incase

The 8th 08 committee

After start of the final, Martin and Ales Bayer crashed together so both dropped to the very back. Michal was leading until he tried overtaking Ales Bayer (who was 2 laps down) and collided with him. In a while there was another contact, Michal got a stop-and-go penalty because there were many cars flying around and the referees decided that Michal was to blame for the collision. After all his troubles, Michal was in 6nd place. Then more problems happened when Martin's engine flamed out after a fuel stop. This enabled Martin Zvara ml. to take the lead with a lap ahead of the others. However, Michal and Martin concentrated on their runs and tempo and began to overtook the others. Martin had an excellent second half and won the race.
