Buggy's: TURMOIL RTR 1:8TH 4WD BUGGY (1131 Reads)
Posted by admin on Thursday, October 26, 2006 - 10:09 PM

Sport Werks

As with the majority of companies it only follows on that any successful race car will eventually be made in to an RTR. The Sportwerks Turmoil has enjoyed some great successes already not only in the UK but also world wide, national A finals, RRCI championships, are just a few of the accomplishments so far this year.
Even with an RTR the people at Sportwerks couldn’t just leave it alone. The car comes complete with a bruising .26 engine and not with a traditional knuckle scraping pull start but a heavy-duty rotor start. Not finished with just upgrading the power department Sportwerks agree that power is nothing without control so you will find the latest technology DX2 Spektrum system fitted as standard. Also no standard four-cell receiver cradle but a 1100Mah receiver battery pack as standard.

Posted by admin on Tuesday, October 24, 2006 - 10:20 PM

Team Losi

To help prevent the chance of pebbles locking up the flywheel, the 8IGHT was designed with a smaller hole where the starter wheel bumps against the flywheel. Most starter boxes will work, but if you have a starter box with a wide wheel, then you will need to chamfer the edges with a file (Reference the red triangles in the pictures below). Be sure to use eye protection. It is also critical that your 8IGHT chassis is lined up "perfectly" with the starter wheel on the starter box. We recommend doing this while you’re assembling your 8IGHT after Assembly Bag F.
