This interview is with Cody King the 2007 Expert Buggy National Champion.

Cody. First things first congratulations on the 2007 Expert Buggy Championship!
For those people who may not know you or haven't followed you can you give some background as in how many years have you been racing, where did you start racing etc.?

Thanks Carlton, and thanks for all your hard work last year. I have been racing for about 9 years. I had a couple gas trucks when I was a kid, just having fun in the street. I got started racing in a buddy's back yard were he had a track. My friends raced at Socal in Huntington Beach, and that's where the more serious racing started for me. Allot of people were into electric back then. Kinwald was basically winning everything, it was a good experience.

Jeremy. Thank you, I will be 31 this April. 2007 was my second year of 1/8 scale racing, I raced gas truck for a summer before that.

RC Pro. I understand your getting married soon.... congratulations! Hopefully your wife likes RC.
Jeremy. Yeah, I will be married in May. She is supportive enough to let us honeymoon in California a week before the ROAR nats. I get to drop her off at the airport and say goodbye as I pick up my buddies to go race. How awesome is that?

Tim Roberts Interview by RCPRO

A little background for those who have been without total communication for the last 2 years. Tim is the 2006 and 2007 RC Pro Monster Truck Champion. He drives and works for Traxxas. So let's find out a little more about this Champion that burst onto the racing scene in 2006.

RC Pro. Tim let's start with the question most of RC was asking in 2006. Who are you and where did you come from?

Tim. I was born and raised in Libertyville, IL, a northern suburb of Chicago. Growing up I always had a passion for racing and tinkering with mechanical things. I spent most of my free time out in the garage or workshop building, repairing, and modifying anything from boats to lawnmowers to cars and go-karts. We used to live on a big dead end road, so my brother and I would race the go-kart around the neighborhood in time trials. My first exposure to actual racing came when I was given a 1/24th scale slot car kit as a gift to run at the local track. I was usually racing against guys two or three times my age, with years of experience. I managed to do very well, and had lots of fun. I actually attribute most of my RC driving composure and throttle control to racing slots cars when I was younger.
