Truggys: RB Concept RT L2G .28 Truggy Engine (1108 Reads)

RB

RB Concept RT L2G .28 Truggy Engine

The RB Products R&D department has been working for many months on the RT project to improve the drivability and fuel consumption of the .28 Truggy engine. With its 4.67cc, this incredible engine can power any Truggy, whatever its weight, while maintaining smooth acceleration and good fuel consumption! It fits most of the .21 or .25 Truggy but also the .21 off-road cars. The engine keeps the exclusive 7-Port /M.E.S. with a new combustion chamber and the low profile L2G RB head. The new crankcase has been reinforced with an over sized engine mount.

The new RB CONCEPT RT L2G cooling head lowers the centre of gravity to improve the handing of the car and the new shape increases the cooling capacity.

Xray Buggy

Started in 2007, a consortium of Western Australia's major RC racing Clubs have banded together to solidify and promote RC racing in WA. This initiative is aimed at supporting regional clubs, and to promote our sport and hobby of RC, and to re-kindle interest within existing enthusiasts whilst attracting newcomers to the sport.

The event is called the "The West Australian Challenge Cup Series", comprising of several non-sanctioned race meetings. Each meeting will be held over a two day weekend made up of Day 1 Practice & Qualifying and Day 2 Finals. The clubs involved in this initiative so far include Geraldton, Radio Rally Club and Model Off Road Buggy Club. Each club will host at least one of the events in their own right.

Xray Buggy

Following the great success of the XRAY truggy, the XRAY XT8, after its debut in 2007 and sweeping the whole podium at the US Monster Truck Championship (taking 1-2-3 positions) and winning several national titles around the world in 2007, XRAY has announced that the XT8 will remain unchanged for 2008.

Dipl. Eng. Juraj Hudy, chief designer of XRAY:
"The XT8 has been extremely successful since its release, and the long development time has paid off as the car has been proven to be 'bulletproof' and its performance has been at the very highest level. We have followed all reports, feedback and exeriences very closely, not only from team drivers but also from our customers around the world... and as such I am happy to confirm that there are no immediate plans to alter the XT8 and it will remain with the same specifications for the 2008 season. I hope everybody enjoys the XT8 and I wish everybody great success in the 2008 racing season."
