SRS at Kent what a turn out for these guys, with a whole list of big names would make a competitive day. Rain had dampened the track so kept the dust down but the surface was true old school & rough as hell. The saving grace being as the track is mainly sweepers the bumps did not cause to much of an issue if your head was switched into them.
A late start at 10.00 due to local restrictions meant time was tight but a strict time schedule was laid down & new recruit to the race control Miss Bailey kept us all on track so well done girlie.

Saturday morning and we were presented with a damp track after it had rained all Friday night. The crew at BADMCC had the water vacuumed from the track in an hour and the start of practice was delayed to allow the track to dry.

Posted by admin on Tuesday, June 21, 2011 - 03:27 PM

Team Losi

The TLR Sprucewood team was in full force with Dave Henry and David McLean in attendance at Round 2 of the Glorcs race at the Barn Yard. In the expert buggy class Dave Henry would miss out of the TQ, but put in a great drive in the A-main to take the win. Dave won Round 2 with his 8IGHT 2.0 powered by his Nitrotec engine. David McLean would take the TQ in expert E-Truggy and also took second in the A-final with his 8IGHT-T 2.0.

Race Reports: Bloomfield Leads From Start To Finish with 8IGHT 2.0 Euro Spec Edition in BRCA R (1017 Reads)
Posted by admin on Tuesday, June 21, 2011 - 03:26 PM

Team Losi

The Championship traveled far up north to Wakefield, West Yorkshire. The MMRX is a fresh venue that everybody had heard a lot about. The MMRX is a new and brilliant venue, with amazing presents and all the necessary facilities for a great national. We are at the half way point of the eight round championship! Darren Bloomfield is the point’s leader going into Rd 4. With this being a new venue and most of the drivers never attending a race at MMRX it makes this race much more challenging. Darren Bloomfield would show why he is the point’s leader with taking the overall TQ after the first two round of qualifying. In the 30min A-Main final Darren Bloomfield would lead from start to finish with his TLR 8IGHT EU 2.0 Nitrotec powered car. Darren Bloomfield also used Nitrotane fuel and Losi King-pin G2 tires in green compound.
