<title>The Midland Super Cup</title>
<link>http://www.piraterc.com/modules.php?op=modload&amp;name=News&amp;file=article&amp;sid=3215</link>
<description>

I know it’s been just rumours floating around the pits and tracks, but I got asked to run a Midlands Regional Series in 2012. I sorted a great team together and we have called it 'The Midlands Super Cup'.
We have seen the need to put together a race series for the Midlands Region in 2012. We have invited clubs in the region to host a round of the TMSC and be part of this exciting new series. All the races will be running to BRCA Rules and each round will be capped at 105 drivers. If you haven’t booked in early enough then you will miss out on some great racing.

TMSC will consist of 6 tracks, them being;

NDOR....21st 22nd April
Ledbury....12th 13th May
DRCORC.....9th 10th June
Nene Valley.....30th June 1st July
NRC.....5th August
Coventry.....1st 2nd September

  Round 3 kick off this weekend 70 racers braved the condtions, with rain and bad weather before this weekend the modular was moved about to give the driest track possible. Big thanks to Pete Bird, club members and the Westmill farm team who removed the water from the track this resulted in a very fast flowing layout enjoyed by all.
    We had Reece Sawyer debuting his AE RC8.2, and a lot of club drivers testing new cars at this meeting!</description>

<title>UNO-RC Driver race reports by: Mark “The Wolf” Thomas</title>
<link>http://www.piraterc.com/modules.php?op=modload&amp;name=News&amp;file=article&amp;sid=3207</link>
<description>Well hello, here you will find my first race report on behalf of UNO-RC.

As a newly signed driver i gave my word too do a race report for every meeting good or bad, and i was hoping for my first too be a good one. How very wrong could i be, the day started well as you can see from the picture, the sun was out and the track was looking very good if a little dusty, so i thought a good start would be too go out on Louise RC B Pirate, it was a superb choice and had very good grip on and off line even if the track was very dusty, i decided on a soft compound as the temperature was quite warm and i wanted too try it as a little experiment.

<title>Reece Sawyer Departs Company from Xray </title>
<link>http://www.piraterc.com/modules.php?op=modload&amp;name=News&amp;file=article&amp;sid=3206</link>
<description>Reece Sawyer will be leaving the XRAY 8th Team for the 2012 season.

Reece has been a fantastic member of our XRAY UK &amp; European Team and we are sad that he has chosen to take a new challenge in the 8th Class, but we equally wish him well in his new racing future.

We are aware of where he is going, so we thank ‘Tony and Reece’ for doing this the right way. I’m sure the news will be released soon....

For now, we will focus on our own plans for 2012, and with the major signing of Reno Savoya (and potentially others), we hope to see XRAY Challenging for honours in 2012 in 8th and all the other classes XRAY proudly competes in.

We’re sure it’s going to be an exciting year??

Best regards,

Greg Hill
Managing Director

<title>HNMC Winter round 2 Reeves 2 from 2 with TLR</title>
<link>http://www.piraterc.com/modules.php?op=modload&amp;name=News&amp;file=article&amp;sid=3204</link>
<description>Great weather meant a high turnout with 85 drivers competing this weekend the track had been rolled in the week so it was smooth and slippery so tyres would be critical.
Buggy qualifying was very close with Simon Reeves taking round 1 for TLR round 2 was Tony Truman AE new RC8.2 and round three Karl Jackson smashed the only 10 lapper of the day for TLR but Tommy Chung took TQ with two 2nd and 5th for Kyosho. Truggy qualifying was wrapped up by Rob Gray with TLR and Novarossi taking all three rounds.

  With heavy rain overnight the start was delayed till 10:30 to allow the track to dry out. 61 racers made the trip the club had kept the same layout since the national as this layout is proving very popular. The track was tacky in round one but was dry buy round two the club was running four rounds with 20minute finals as this would be the last long race day for 2011.
Simon Reeves took all four runs in qualifying in the buggy class Losi Nitrotec and Mark Gregory taking TQ Truggy class with Losi RB.

<title>Kifopaint lets rip with a custom team paint and decal special</title>
<link>http://www.piraterc.com/modules.php?op=modload&amp;name=News&amp;file=article&amp;sid=3201</link>
<description>
Having joined Team Kifopaint several years back, I have never thanked him web wise for his works so will take this oppertunity now. His work when I joined his team was really good &amp;amp; far better than I could ever achieve but now is totally awsome &amp;amp; is often a shame to put on your car to get covered in mud n dirt. He has moved from just painting shells to now custom stickers, wing skins, starter &amp;amp; transmitter wraps to be honest he will sticker &amp;amp; wrap whatever you want so just ask. His work does not just stop on the car but clothing aswell so what ever your need be it T shirt, Hoody or coat he will do the biz. All your sponsors can now be added to your clothing so keeping them all happy.
  To contact Keith or view more of his works use KIFOPAINT

  A Sample of his works for me so many thanks Keith for your past support &amp;amp; look forward to 2012 &amp;amp; beyonds cheers dude..

  Regards
  Bren

  A busy month for the club with BRCA warmup then national and last round of summer series, this gives the club drivers a chance to race on the national layout. The club has invested heavy this year improving the track and modular layout and now owns a 2wd roller. 62 drivers made the trip and with a full truggy heat racing would be good,
    Qualifying
    Buggy was a fight between Keith the paint Newton and Tom Saggers with Keith taking it by 5 seconds.
  Truggy again two way fight between Rob York and Rob Gray with Rob York taking it.

<title>Nemo Round 4 Piraterc SRS 2011 at ADUR</title>
<link>http://www.piraterc.com/modules.php?op=modload&amp;name=News&amp;file=article&amp;sid=3195</link>
<description>
Sunday the 4th September saw the Nemo team head to the ADUR track in the south of the UK for Rnd 4 of the SRS series. The ADUR track is a
new venue this year for the series with a good facility for this new club. The track well prepped with a hard packed sandy clay type surface with various features of adverse camber corners, fast chicances, rumble strips &amp;amp; well profiled jumps made for a challanging drive. Ralls, Wolfe, Kerr, Bryne &amp;amp; Baxter would hold the flag for Nemo racing in a competitive field even though numbers where low. Round one with every one learning the track wolfe would set the pace in heat 3 with a good clear run taking the TQ spot, heat 4 saw Ralls &amp;amp; Kerr out. Ralls set a great pace with Kerr tucked neatly on his bumper, both equaling the lap times of wolfe. Ralls would finish 1 second back to take 2nd in round with kerr so unfortunate as a PT problem only counted half his laps.
